@Nadeshda went to a museum? Sweet! I love museums. They're somewhere up near the top of the list, but not quite as high as parades.

Also, you're insanely busy. You're busier than I am.

My PT is done and I've nothing more to do until sometime this afternoon.

Thanks @COF  :) it should be fun! A top hat, cane, some high kicking and singing... yeah should be a giggle and a laugh...

@Nadeshda, sounds like a busy day. Sucks when the lines go out, believe me I know.

Sinatra show? Singing and dancing? Now that would be a treat to see.

We're here. We're going to go get food. We'll probably not be back later. It seems REALLY unlikely that we'll be back. These old bones are tired and sore.

Sleep well, everyone. I'll try to sorta keep touch, but posting in here saves me TONS of time. ;-)

Sorry a storm cut my lines out. Hope you had a wonderful day! I have had a full day... Iíll make a post about my museum trip later. I have a homeschool board to meet, children to teach and work... I am also currently practicing for a Frank Sinatra musical. Singing and dancing... egh...

Oh well take care!

@COF  looky above for an update :)

Well, in your defense, it does have a pencil and paper icon.

I actually picked SMF 'cause I figured it was reasonably clear and *surely* everyone knows how to use an old school forum!

How wrong I was! ;-)

I see that now, I was just using the button that looks like a piece of paper and a pencil

@crazy_eyes It's the "reply" button. LOL

Or "quick reply" if you have that enabled.

@crazy_eyes

Why are you editing posts instead of responding to them?

LOL You left your questions as edits to mine and COF's post. (I just noticed it in the moderation logs.)

Being logged in doesn't matter, as their browser has to then open the page (which may be the case, but logged in isn't enough).

I have no idea why commercial flights do that. Well, the excuse is that it's a safety issue. That's patently absurd, but that's the excuse.

@Nadeshda, maybe there's a slight technical reason but I've always assumed it was so you had to pay them for services.

With the IP addresses I can now pin all of you down to 2/3 of the world. That'll save some time.

AfriNIC (Africa)

APNIC (Asia Pacific region)

ARIN (North America, a portion of the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa)

LACNIC (Latin American and Caribbean region)

RIPE (Europe, the Middle East and parts of Africa and Asia)

Lol, too funny, so close yet so far..

ISpeaking of airplanes... They do not make me turn off my electronics, or put them into any airplane mode. No, they do not.

So why is electronics viewed so differently on commercial flights? Is it the sheer volume of flyers pinging satellites that disrupt systems or just a farce to begin with?

I think LegalPerson is just permanently logged in, thatís all. I recall him saying something like that.
