Today I broke a string and it didn't kill me. Today was a good day.

It's one of their songs that got radio play.

Alas, I"m awake. I'm pretty sure my sleepy meds aren't going to work tonight.

I'm going to catch up on a documentary. You might be interested. Lemme get you a link...

Ritchie Blackmore Story 2015 - YouTube

I haven't ever finished it and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be awake for a while. The forum should automagically get the title, so I will save some keystrokes!

I like the music, pretty much good old rock. The lyrics are a little angsty but overall listenable. I've heard of the group, is this one of their more popular songs?

Three Days Grace - Just Like You (Official Music Video) - YouTube

Gotta learn this for a show coming up in October. I'm not sure my voice can do that transition.I do like the song, however.

That said, I'm upstairs and in bed on a laptop. I should probably go to sleep, but I'm waiting on the missus.

Edit: Inserting YT links appears to be broken. I may have time to poke at it before I leave on Wednesday, but that seems unlikely.

In reference to my above post, it seems fitting to add, "They've got one thing in common, they've got the fire down below."

Anyhow, I made it to Voat and feel exactly zero urge to comment or post.

They come and they go.

An important tidbit that I've mentioned before...

We're musicians. It's a good assumption to believe our lives are a complete and utter mess. Seriously, we're all fucked in the head and our lives are seldom squared away. It's damned near universally true.

Which leads me to...

They'll probably be back, eventually.

Side note:

I will have VERY limited time, but it's time to start thinking about maybe making a special Christmas thread when the time comes. "The Goat Christmas Jamboree" or something, perhaps intentionally keeping the thread active for several days over the holidays.

I'd leave that to you and @crazy_eyes to sort out, but y'all can't even remember to post weekly reminders that there's a FNGT coming! ;-)

I should check in on Voat for a few minutes. I'm not sure how well they're getting on without my thinkin' to help 'em!

...and miles to go before I sleep.

It's a shame to see we haven't heard from quite a few really good artists in the last 6 months or so. Maybe one day, when the 'current situation' is over, but I don't know. Time will tell.
